After approaching Seda and continuously working with a Seda Business Advisor; a number of interventions were implemented including the creation of a website for the business as well as entry into the Seda Pitch & Perfect competition. These interventions increased the business' exposure. Which all culminated into Zanip winning the 2018 Pitch & Perfect competition securing Technology Transfer funding worth R540 000.00; which allows her to buy an updated knitting machine from Germany, increasing quality and manufacturing capability.
Later in the year Zanip was selected as a finalist for the Regional Business Entrepreneur Woman of the Year 2018 award, further increasing the company's profile. The business has shown a steady increase in turnover and an increase in the number of employees from 12 to 24 employees.
