Matzovision is a black-owned business which manufactures steel and aluminium doors and windows. The business was founded by Malefatsane Mahao and John Leuta in Hamilton, Bloemfontein. Some of the challenges encountered by the SMME were new machinery; capacity to deliver; and they needed proper management of Cash flow. Through Seda’s intervention the business managed to access grant funding for machinery of R230 000. The business was also provided with coaching support. A business plan with cash flow projections was developed enabling the business to access further funding from a commercial bank. Matzovision has improved the quality of its products and increased profits. Seven more people were employed, increasing the permanent staff members from 12 to 19.
